Graduation profile

  • Perform and evaluate educational activities with infants of different levels, creating pedagogical environments appropriate to their needs and their cognitive, emotional, social and psychomotor development, according to the Curricular Bases of Kindergarten Education and the guidelines and instruments received from the educators.

 

  • Prepare, use and store didactic and educational environment material to support activities with infants, applying pedagogical, aesthetic and equity criteria in terms of gender, ethnicity and culture.

 

  • Communicate effectively and affectionately with children, their families or responsible adults, individually and collectively, creating a cordial and caring environment for the wellbeing of the infant.

 

  • Feeding children under six years of age, according to their age, dietary requirements and agreed schedules, promoting healthy eating and autonomy in food intake.

 

  • To change children under two years of age and to help children over two years of age to dress and undress themselves autonomously, while respecting the principles of health, safety and hygiene of infants and applying ergonometric principles.
  • Promote health, hygiene and self-care habits in children under six years of age, using the techniques indicated in the health manual and in the institution’s risk prevention and evacuation program.

 

  • Control weight and height of children, according to the health manual, and inform educators so that they can take corrective actions if necessary.

 

  • Detect symptoms of common diseases, mistreatment and abuse, attend to minor accidents and provide medication to children under six years of age, according to the health manual, first aid and medical prescription, in addition to informing educators and specialized personnel about the events that have occurred in a timely manner.

 

  • Attend children under six years of age during rest and recreation hours, generating alternatives for the use of free time and promoting the rest of each one, according to the needs of each child.

 

  • Record, file and keep updated the background of children, their families or responsible adults, manually and digitally, complying with institutional requirements.
