Business Advisory Council
Overall objectives
To support the educational establishment's management in establishing general policies that evaluate and contribute to continuous improvement.
Encourage and motivate the different actors of the educational process and the people of the company to generate a permanent alliance.
Provide guidance and collaborate in the detection of needs and in the definition of the technical profile required in the society or region.
Specific objectives for the institution
- Advise the director of the institution to set the programmatic guidelines for the improvement of the technical teaching staff.
- Support projects or programs leading to the improvement of the technical capacity and capability of graduates.
- Collaborate in the search for professional internships, dual quotas and employment for students and graduates.
- Advise and contribute to the improvement and updating of the technological subjects taught.
- Encourage and support the value formation of the student body.
Functions
- Ensure the good image of the establishment, the maintenance of the infrastructure and the maintenance of fluid relations with local, regional and community authorities.
- Collaborate and support extracurricular activities of:
- Sport
- Recreation, art, choirs, music, theater, etc.
- Cultural encouragement, appreciation of literature, music, art in general.
- Encouraging interest in science.
- Programs of civic and social responsibility actions in the service of the local community.
- Collaborate with proposals for projects aimed at improving the school’s infrastructure and equipment (state, municipal or foundation funding).
